The Chateau L'Arrosee label have had an extremely short tenure for an old estate. Before 1956 the grapes grown on this estate were given to a local cooperative who applied their own branding. The current owner, Clarence Dillon of Chateau Haut-Brion, purchased the estate in 2013 and combined it with the neighbouring Chateau Quintus. The last vintage produced by Chateau L'Arrosee is the 2012.
Taking its name from an underground spring, the former Chateau L'Arrosee vineyard is planted to 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc and covers 9.5 hectares for St.Emilion.
