The blend for the grand vin of Chateau Figeac is dominated by the Cabernet varieties; Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc represent 35% each, this is topped up with Merlot. Chateau Figeac is aged for 15 to 18 months in new French oak.

Quinault L'Enclos is now part of the Cheval Blanc stable. The 2003 is precocious and approachable as you would expect from this warmer and dryer than usual vintage. A successful Merlot dominated St Emilion. If you like soft and generous, charming Bordeaux wines this will hit the spot.
