St Estephe from Chateau Laffitte Carcasset

Chartreuse of the 18th century, and surrounded by the central vineyards of the gravel plateau of Saint-Estephe, Chateau Laffittee Carcasset has been producing wine since 1790. Chevalier Joseph Laffitte, attorney to the King of France, bought the domaine and grew the first vineyards. Later in 1955, Viscount Pierre de Padirac purchased the property and his descendants have since made several expansions and technical improvements to serve the continued quality of the estate’s wine.
