An intriguing Glen Keith whisky from Douglas Laing’s ever-popular "Old Particular" series. This whisky was distilled back in 1993 and spent 21 years spent in a refill hogshead cask. Bottled at 51.5% ABV, only 270 bottles were released.
Independently bottled Tomintoul from Douglas Laing, aged for 20 years in single refill hogshead #10780. It was distilled in May 1995 and bottled for the Old Particular range in May 2015, producing just 318 bottles.
Here’s a delight from Douglas Laing - it’s a 21 year old whisky from the Speyside distillery. Distilled in 1996, and bottled in 2017, there’s some colour on this, despite it having been matured in a refill butt. Sherry bomb alert…
