Matured in first-fill sherry hogsheads this is a 2006 vintage Dufftown from Gordon & MacPhails Connoisseurs Choice range. It was bottled in 2016 and offers notes of banana, ripe red apple and overtones of sherry.
Seven-year-old Craigellachie from Douglas Laing, presented in the newly packaged Provenance range. The Speyside single malt was distilled in 2008 and left to matured in a refill butt before it was bottled in Late 2015. A light and spicy Scotch with a lick of honey.
Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2016 this is a enjoyably-smoky single malt Scotch whisky from the Benromach distillery - which independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail purchased back in 1993. The whisky is aged in first fill bourbon barrels and beforehand, it's peatedto a fairly steep67ppm.
A well-sherried independent bottling of Glenallachie single malt by Langside. Distilled in 2008 it was left maturing in a refill hogshead before being bottled in 2016 for the Hepburn's Choice range. Only 301 bottles were filled from the single cask.
