A well-sherried Glenrothes bottled by Wemyss Malts' rather humorously named whiskies - single cask releases named after their character and style. Distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2015, the sherry butt filled just 388 bottles.
The first edition of this whisky was originally bottled in 2009, when then-Malt Master John Ramsay set aside some of the whisky that needed more time. This is that whisky, which after being matured in a combination of American Sherry hogsheads and refill Sherry butts, was bottled in 2016.
