A very youthful release from indie bottlers Càrn Mòr, this single malt is made up of two hogsheads that were filled in 2011 and bottled in 2017. The distilleries involved are to remain a mystery, but suffice to say they're both located by a stream.
A 6-year-old Glentauchers from Càrn Mòr which was filled into a single sherry Puncheon cask in 2010. After maturation was complete, in 2016, it was bottled for the Strictly Limited label without chill filtration neither added colouring. The outturn was 913 bottles.
Càrn Mòr’s Strictly Limited range sees some very good value younger whiskies made available. This example is a 10 year old Craigellachie, which was distilled in 2006, matured in two casks, before being bottled at 46% ABV in 2017. The two casks yielded 860 bottles in all.
This is an 11 year old Glenrothes whisky that has spent its life in a sherry butt, and which has been released by indie brand Càrn Mòr, as part of their Celebration of the Cask range. Only 610 bottles are available - and note the hefty ABV.
A independent bottling from the Speyside distillery, bottled as part of the excellent Celebration of The Cask range by Càrn Mòr. It was aged in a single hogshead cask (number 65) from April 1994 to May 2016, and bottled at natural cask strength.
Tamdhu is a well-loved Speyside distillery, and this is an exciting 20 year old release from Carn Mor's Celebration of the Cask Range. It was distilled in May 1997, aged in a hogshead and bottled in October 2017 at a robust 54.6% ABV.
24-year-old Dailuine distilled in 1992, and bottled from a single cask in May 2016 for the Celebration of The Cask range by Càrn Mòr. Only 203 of these citrus-y, waxy Speyside single malts were filled.
A classy Aberlour presented by independant bottlerCàrn Mòr for their Celebration of the Cask range. This 26 year old was aged in single hogshead #11336 from October 1989 to July 2016, which filled 225 bottles once emptied.
Bottled as part of Càrn Mòr's Celebration of the Cask range, this Glen Keith has reached a splendid age of 28 years. It was distilled in 1988, and has spent its life in an ex-bourbon barrel before being bottled just over the line at 40.1% ABV.
A well-aged release from the closed Imperial Distillery, which was located in Speyside. Bottled by indie brand Càrn Mòr, as part of their Celebration of the Cask range, in summer 2017, only 200 bottles are available.
Independently bottled Macallan aged for 30 years in a single sherry butt. It was distilled at Macallan in 1985 and bottled over three decades later byCàrn Mòr, in September 2016. Just 440 bottles were filled.
