A 1997 vintage Tormore which was independently bottled by the great Gordon & MacPhail. It was bottled by them in 2014 for their Connoisseurs Choice range and offers notes of honeyed malt, creamy vanilla and warm apple pie.
A fabulous bottling of an increasingly popular distillery – this time from an ever-reliable indie bottler, Hunter Laing, for their Old Malt Cask range. This is a Tormore of admirable vintage, 28 years old, distilled in 1988 and living in a sherry butt. Only 391 bottles were released.
Tormore single casks seem to be getting a bit of a following these days. This is a grand old specimen - aged for 25 years in a single refill butt. Distilled back in January 1992, and bottled in October 2017, only 247 bottles were released at 56.3% ABV.
