Casked in a selection of Oloroso sherry cask.

Matured in a selection of bourbon casks for no less than 16 years, this is a rather flavoursome single malt from Tomintoul in Speyside. Gentle nutty aromas, followed by more nuttiness with spicy overtones yet smooth and delicate on the palate.

Nose: Delicate, soft and creamy with light floral malt and some sweetness
Palate:Elegant, round, soft and gentle. Clean malt with some creamy sweetness
Finish: Long and creamy, tending to dry with slight peppery tones.
A cracking peated malt produced at Speyside's Tomintoul's distillery, by using heavily peated barley. Different to the previous bottling this now has an age statement, and weighs in at a punchy 50% ABV. This is a great peated malt from Speyside!
Independently bottled Tomintoul from Douglas Laing, aged for 20 years in single refill hogshead #10780. It was distilled in May 1995 and bottled for the Old Particular range in May 2015, producing just 318 bottles.
Master distiller, Robert Fleming has produced a spectacular bottling for the fiftieth anniversary of Tomintoul. He picked out casks from each decade between 1965 and 2005, resulting in an outturn of 5, 230 numbered bottles.
A richly sherried example of this fine Speyside distillery, it was distilled on 12th April 1977 before being maturing for a resplendent 38 years and bottled in June 2015 at a robust 54.9% ABV. Only a limited number of these are available - a mere 470 bottles - making it a particularly rare...
