A young and vibrant Glen Moray, a very young specimen at 6 years old, this was bottled byDuncan Taylor as part of the Battlehill line of single malts. This range is all about the clan battles that used to take place near Duncan Taylor's Huntly HQ - many moons ago.
This bottling from Elgin-based distillery Glen Moray has been matured for just under a decade - distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2017 by Berry Bros. & Rudd for their Berrys' Own Selection. It's neither chill-filtered nor contains colouring.
Independantly bottled Glen Moray which was distilled in 1988 then left to mature in a single sherry hogshead until 2018, when it was bottled for the Malts of Scotland range by Bartels Whisky. Presented at natuarl cask strength, only 115 of these were produced.
Murray McDavid's Mission Gold range has put out yet another interesting whisky. This is a three-decades-old whisky from Glen Moray, which was distilled back in 1986. This bottler is known for their quirky finishes but has played this with a straight bat - matured entirely in bourbon hogsheads...
