The second batch of cask strength whisky from Springbank, distilled in 1997. This whisky is bottled at a higher ABV (54.9%) than the first batch, offering more of a savoury character than the previous citrus, spiced batch, #1.
Aged in sherry butts for 10 years before being hand selected by production director, Frank McHardy,and distillery manager, Stuart Robertson. This release marks the first batch of cask strength whisky, distilled in 1997. A pungent whisky from Springbank, with plenty of spice and dried citrus.
