Glen Scotia is one of thelesser-known Campbeltown few distilleries, but it’s making more of a name for itself with a newly packaged range. This release has been matured for 18 years in ex-bourbon casks and is bottled at 46% ABV.
A very popular tipple from Compbeltown, this one. The 2017 edition from Longrow is made up from 60% refill sherry casks and 40% fresh bourbon casks, with an outturn of 4,500 bottles released worldwide.

An awesome Campbeltown release by Hunter Laing as part of the Old Malt Cask range. This Springbank 16 year old single malt whisky was initially distilled in June 1993, left aside to age in a refill hogshead until being bottled in June 2009 at 50% ABV. Just 310 bottles were produced.
The Springbank Local Barley series has been incredibly popular with whisky fans. It’s made using barley close by to the distillery - in this case, from Kintyre - and has been matured in a mixture of bourbon and sherry casks before being bottled at a robust 57.3% ABV.
