Official bottlings of peated Tobermoryknown as 'Ledaig' are very exciting whiskies to see, especially when they've been aged in Amontillado sherry casks. This 13 year old was distilled and aged on the Isle of Mull and bottled at 57.2% ABV.
This limited release Ledaig (also referred to as peated Tobermory) was aged for 19 years with a finish in casks that previously held Marsala wine. As a result you'll likely come across some notes of sweet red fruits and cocoa.
