Hunter Laing’s First Editions range aims to evoke the qualities of a rare literary volume, with character and collectability a focus. This particular volume is a Tobermory that was distilled in 1996, matured for 18 years in a refill butt that yielded 487 bottles at a strength of 54.5% ABV.
A single cask bottling from Island-based distillery Tobermory, released by Douglas Laing for their cracking Old Particular range. It was aged from July 1994 to December 2015 in a refill hogshead, which produced 306 bottles once emptied.

This limited release Ledaig (also referred to as peated Tobermory) was aged for 19 years with a finish in casks that previously held Marsala wine. As a result you'll likely come across some notes of sweet red fruits and cocoa.
Single cask Highland Park aged from February 1991 to December 2012 in a refill butt. The whisky was distilled on Orkney, at the distillery and bottled later by Douglas Laing for the Director's Cut range. Just 227 delicious bottles were drawn from cask 9242.
