Knockdhu's whiskies are more commonly released under the anCnoc brand, but this one has been bottled by independent bottlers Càrn Mòr's as part of their Strictly Limited range. Its 8 years were spent in a pair of hogshead casks, from which 770 bottles were released.
Rascan is another addition to the set ofpeated single malts in the Ancnoc range, from the Knockdhu distillery. This particular whisky was peated to 11.1 PPM before spending it's time ageing in ex-bourbon barrels for some time.
Highland brand, anCnoc, make an elegant dram, but they also make a range of peated whiskies too. Peatheart is the tasty new addition to the range, and it usesbarley that has been malted to 40PPM. It's bottled at 46% ABV without colour or chill-filtration.

A Limited Release from the Knockdhu distillery, 1975 vintage Ancnoc, bottled in 2014, made from just three casks comprised of Spanish and American oak. Quite a special Highland single malt scotch, bottled with no chill-filtration or added colours at 44.2% ABV.
Only 1,590 bottles were produced.
An outturn of just 670 bottles were produced for the second 35 year old edition fromAncnoc. It was distilled at the Knockdhu distillery and left to age in American oak ex-bourbon barrels for three and a half decades.
