A single cask Cambus bottling drawn from a refill hogshead, after being aged inside it for 40 years, from September 1976 to November 2016. Just 108 bottles were filled for Douglas Laing's Xtra Old Particular range.
A stellar whisky in this year's selection of Special Releases by Diageo. This well-aged single grain was aged for 40 years in refill American oak hogsheads and bottled without Chill-filtration or added colouring. Only 1,812 of these were produced.
