Vesevo is located in the Campania, a region renowned for its wine-making tradition. Thousands of years ago the Campania was hit by the eruption of Mount Vesuvio. It was this that led people to believe that local cultivation was over. However this was not the case, as the lava eventually crumbled and gradually turned into very fertile land that was rich in minerals, and fundamental for the growing of wine grapes of unique complexity and finesse. To pay homage to Mount Vesuvio, Vesevo decided to name their company after the ancient name of the volcano. Now, modern technology and wine-making expertise enable Vesevo to produce wines that embody the best interpretation of thousands of years of wine-making tradition.
