Chateau Talbot is named for an English Warrior who was defeated at the battle of Castillon in 1453. Here, the vinification process for the best grapes takes place in huge wooden vats. Wines from these are blended with those from stainless steel vats to provide consistency in the final product.
The vines are 66% Cabernet Sauvignon and 26% Merlot with a small amount of Petit Verdot.
