The vineyards of Chateau Meyney sit on the hilltops above the left bank of the Gironde estuary. The waterside location softens dramatic temperature fluctuation, saving the vines and grapes from temperature extremes. Vineyards have existed here since 1662!
The vineyard is planted to 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. Most of the vines are between 35 and 40 years old.
