Alejandro Fernandez was always a man with a dream. In childhood, his father taught him the art of winemaking, sparking a desire to own and run his own Bodega. In 1972, after many years of hard work, Alejandro Fernandez would acquire a small 16th century, stone built bodega which would be named Tinto Pesquera. Here the vineyards would be put to work growing the 'Queen of Grapes', Tempranillo, and the resulting wine made Bodega Tinto Pesquera among the most respected in all of Spain.
Since his initial steps, Alejandro has set up an additional three bodegas, each with distinct character and been named the 'Maestro of Tempranillo'.
