Information About Legras & Haas

One of the younger Champagne houses, Legras & Haas was founded in 1991 by Brigitte Haas and Francois Legras, both passionate and experienced vine growers residing in Chouilly., and now managed by their sons, Remi and Olivier.

This is vine growers house and thus the primary focus is getting the best possible quality of grapes from the vineyards, before thinking about wine. Most of the grapes in their finished wines are sourced from their own family vineyards, complemented by those from trusted partners!

Tasting Date : 01 December 2012

Light orange. Spice-accented aromas and flavors of red berries and candied flowers, with a subtle mineral note adding vivacity. Bright and nervy, with strong finishing cut and lingering rose and orange zest notes. Offers the flavor depth to handle richer foods but also has the liveliness to work by itself.

Rating : 90/100
