A Hunter Laing bottling of single cask Littlemill 26 year old single malt. The whisky was initially distilled at the distillery in November 1988, left to mature in a single refill hogshead (Cask 14552) for at least 26 years before being bottled at natural cask strength in March 2015, as part of the Old and Rare Platinum selection by independent bottlers Hunter Laing. It comes housed in a flawless presentation case, containing a certificate of authenticity including tasting notes and it's individual bottle number.
This golden whisky has a nose with notes of vanilla and butterscotch, followed by orchard fruits and a hint of leafy forest. The palate is creamy with green apples. Cinnamon and buttered toast. The finish is long and dry with a hint of fruit as well as oak.
